Music Tuition Scotland provides expert music teachers in your own home for all musical instruments and Grades. Since 1994, we have arranged thousands of one-to-one lessons by registered music teachers across the Edinburgh and Glasgow areas, and nationwide.
Today, we’re Scotland’s largest music tuition provider, working in partnership with the The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) to ensure each and every one of our students reach their potential.
At £30 per hour for all one-to-one Grade I to Grade V lessons, music tuition is an investment you can afford. For more expert musicians, we offer premium tutors for Grades VI - VIII at the rate of £40 per hour.
Piano, recorder, violin, music theory or voice lessons; starting out or developing existing talent; younger and more mature students, Music Tuition Scotland supply music tutors for all instruments and Grades and can provide you with the music tutors you require. With the exception of some piano lessons, all lessons take place at the student’s home, on the day and at the time most suitable for the student.

Uniquely in Scotland, we specify the standard of service parents and students can expect when booking a music tutor. Music Tuition Scotland is also lobbying our RSAMD partners to make all tuition services in Scotland subject to the ABRSM Code of Professionalism and Conduct.
Our Service Guarantee
1. All tutors are registered music teachers and comply with the RSAMD Code
2. All tutors are fully proficient regarding current music ABRSM Grade developments
3. All tutors are Enhanced Disclosure Scotland-checked prior to registration with Music Tuition Scotland
4. Tutors will only conduct lessons in your home, with an adult (over 18) parent or guardian present in the home
